JOMY® Safety Products, Inc. is proud to announce the completion of the Pioneer Apartments Counter-Balanced stair installation in Fargo North Dakota. The staircase was designed as a burglar-proof fire escape from the second, third and fourth floor to the ground. The staircase is constructed of custom extruded anodized aluminum providing a lifetime of maintenance-free use. The staircase was prefabricated to site specifications and installed on site without the use of heavy equipment. A scissor lift was used to raise the sections, weighing no more than 140 pounds, into place.
The style of the staircase is the Traditional layout using vertical pickets. The Counter-Balanced stair is suspended from the building. The stair is The width of the stair is 24" (clear) with an inclination of 45°. Guardrails are 42" high with rails spaced 4" on center. The Counter-Balanced portion of the stair is also a 45° inclination. |
