Mini JOMY® : Specification Guide

Retractable ladders: All retractable ladders as shown on architects drawings shall be the Mini-JOMY® Retractable Ladder as supplied by JOMY®, Inc., Louisville, CO. in sizes per plans and specifications (or Model No._____ ) or the equivalent. All ladders shall be made from extruded anodized aluminum with rungs pivoting on stainless steel pins and nylon bushings. Ladders shall have a minimum overall width of 20 1/2 inches with a ribbed, slip-resistant top surface. All ladders shall be counter-weighted with stainless steel springs to insure ease of closing and must lock on closing to prevent unauthorized access.

Composition and Materials: Fixed and mobile vertical ladder stiles to be of extruded aluminum sections formed from 6063-T6 alloy. Non-slip tubular rungs are to be formed from 6005-T5 and T6 alloy. Pivot pins, counter-weighting springs, attachment bolts and base plate are to be of stainless steel. Ladder is connected to the structure with U-shaped brackets of 6063-T6 aluminum alloy and custom expansion bolts (supplied) or lag bolts.

Finish: All aluminum components shall have a clear anodized finish on all exposed surfaces unless ordered in a custom color. All individual ladder sections shall be separately wrapped in plastic film and shipped in cartons to the site designated by the contractor.
Installation: The contractor shall furnish and install the Mini-JOMY® Retractable Ladder where indicated on the architectural/ engineering drawings. To ensure satisfactory performance, the manufacturers installation instructions, included with each shipment, must be strictly followed.
Warranty: The Mini-JOMY® Retractable Ladder is warranted to be free of any defects in materials or workmanship for 1 year if installed according to manufacturer specifications.
