General Measurement Requirements For Staircase Design
- Note all evacuation exit widths.
- Note height of all exit levels.
- Note Distance between windows or between exits to be used for evacuation.
- Note surface for staircase landing.
- Height and off-set of window sill or door threshold.
- Note location and off-set of any conduits, pipe or other obstructions to be cleared.
- Angel of corner, if corner installation, particularly if other than 90o.
